Production

Viscose is a natural product. It is manufactured from cellulose, a 100% natural raw material that is harvested from special coniferous trees in dedicated plantations.

The viscose process begins by dissolving the cellulose, in the form of wood pulp, to form a spinning solution. This is fed into spinning machines and pressed through ultra fine nozzles into a spin bath. The resulting filaments are then wound onto bobbins as viscose filament yarn.
