Section 4g of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) prescribes that the Data Protection Officer is required by law to make the following information publicly available by suitable means pursuant to Section 4e:

4.	Statement of purposes in data collection, processing and use: The purpose of the company is the manufacture and distribution of textile viscose filament yarn under the brand name of ENKA ® Viscose. Furthermore ENKA is a service provider for OS400, SAP R/3 and Windows-based systems. The collection, processing and use of personal data takes place for the operation of the company's own business and in the practice of the above-stated purpose.

5.	Description of the affected group of persons and the relevant data or data categories: Data categories: Customer data (order, delivery and billing data), employees (personnel data), suppliers (order, delivery and billing data) and data on interested parties and contacts (address and job title) in so far as this information is required to fulfil the purpose cited in point 4.

6.	Recipients or categories of recipients with whom the data may be shared: Public authorities who receive the data on the basis of overriding statutory provisions, external contractors in accordance with §11 of the Federal Data Protection Act as well as external bodies and internal departments within ENKA for the fulfilment of the purpose cited in point 4.

7.	Standard periods for the deletion of data: The legislature has imposed a variety of storage obligations and periods. After expiry of these periods the corresponding data is routinely deleted. Where data is not affected by this, it is deleted when the purpose cited in point 4 ceases to apply.

8.	Planned transmission of data to third states:	Transmission of data to third states is not envisaged.
